about us

Scholars Leading Scholars (SLS) is a USC student organization dedicated to enhancing academic opportunity in the University Park neighborhood. We value the cultivation of relationships between SLS members, local high school students, and educators as a means of empowering all members of our community. Through tutoring and mentorship, we seek to equip students with the necessary resources to excel in all facets of their lives. Most importantly, we strive to prepare young adults for the rigors of college so that they may succeed long after they graduate from high school.

We hold weekly sessions at local high schools, covering a variety of college preparatory materials. Our main focus, however, is to build strong relationships between local high school students and USC students that will enrich not only the educational experience for all, but form bonds that will last beyond the SLS sessions.
