Here at TSS, we've had a very exciting past few weeks to finish off the month of October.

First, we hosted two incredible speakers: Elizabeth Scharpf, the founder and CIO of Sustainable Health Enterprises, and Samuel Polk, the founder and executive director of GroceryShips. Both speakers were able to tell us about their amazing work in building social entrepreneurship programs.

We also the had the opportunity to co-host a 3 day Blood Drive with the USC Red Cross Club and thanks to our scholars and larger USC community, we were able to go over quota each day and the total donations will save up to 300 lives - so thank you to all of those who came out and contributed!

Lastly, our social and special events teams created two great breaks from midterms and the lead up to finals with a trip to see the LA Clippers take on the Dallas Mavericks in the home opener for the 2015 season and to get frightened with a terrifying trip to Knott's Scary Farm.

As TSS enters it's last month of programming for the fall semester, be sure to look out for more exciting events and programs from our team!
